Yes, I have had the same problems, not rotating our supplies costs in the long run.
I have discovered that todays canned foods do not keep as long as they did in the past, same with store bought flour, etc.
I had cans of regular foods bulging in a year or less.
Look at the cat and say thank you, for if the food was not fit to be fed to the cat, you sure did not want to eat it....LOL
Good that you have found recipes that were usable, makes it worth while posting them, if they are usable.
