Oh, geez how frustrating. I would think being out of the city and in the middle of your acreage would give you some distance. I guess criminals have no respect these days. Nor liberals with an entitlement attitude. Are they illegals or anchors (since you said he couldn’t understand you)? All the border states are full of ‘em, I’d guess. CA is bad, TX is almost as bad - and I haven’t lived in the other 2 states but did live near NM once. It was bad as well. Funny thing that crime and # of illegals are related. Those that don’t respect our laws from the very beginning will never do so - libs have no common sense whatsoever.

Yes, it is odd, for years ago, the illegals were mostly here to work and we had no fear of them at all.
Then in about 1977, another kind of illegal started following the same paths the older ones had, but they did not come for a job and making money, they were scary, younger, better dressed and instead of hoping the rest of their trip went safely, you had to call the Police to chase them off.
As for the folks across the street, a grandmother and her teen age daughter moved in, in a travel trailer and they were ok, I made an effort and LOL, even shared my squash with them.
Then the kid slipped, “Dad comes here next week” ....
“Oh where is he?”
“He has been in prison, in Calif.”
Turned out her mother, older brothers and dad all had records and so did granny, kinda a Ma Barker clan.
Only granny died with cancer and now they are back.
