We payed around $4 a gal for gas at $140+ per barrel
currently it’s $ 2 a gal for gas at $35-$45 per barrel

Throw in the full storage tanks, the tankers anchored and cannot unload as there is no place to put the oil... It is sort of - yes definitely smelling...

They have played with the gas prices for years, raise them high, lower them, but not to prior levels and each time the price we are ‘down to’ is a little higher than before.
But it is the price we pay.
