Lately, the number of personal property crimes here has been on the front page, with suggestions on how to protect oneself - including guns! Amazing for an otherwise liberal rag. (That means it is actually much worse than they are reporting, IMO. I sure wish the snow would melt in the mountains so we can start moving provisions up there!)<<<
My news says it will be colder for the next week.
The new crime that I am hearing on the scanners, that worries me, is the folks moving into someone elses house, have heard incidents of “he came home from work and found 3 people in his house” and “He came out of the bedroom, to find 3 people in the living room.
There have been others, no sign of theft or destruction, just simply come in and take over.
Not many of us can fight 3 people.
