I'm thinking of getting a window A/C - especially for night time use. Why cool all that square footage when I'm in one room . . .

That's good thinking. The only thing I like about our 2 story house is that it has one A/C unit for each floor, so we don't have to cool the area we're not currently in. Well, I do like other things about the house, but not the 2 story aspect of it.

I'd like to have some marvelous acreage like you have though.
