Corn Smut
Corn smut is a fungal disease that sometimes affects corn ears. Usually, farmers in the United States treat smut like an undesirable disease and make every effort to eradicate it.<<<
And soon we do not have corn for cornmeal and animal feed.
Sorry, smut is something you burn to keep it from spreading.
LOL, but then you knew I wouldn’t like it.
Here I have been burning it too for all those years and I had a bonanza but didn’t know it.
Smut is something I hate! But thought some of the others might at least get a laugh at what some people eat.
Years ago, whenever we would remove the tails from our sheep, we would take them to an Englishman who was a florist in town. They view lambstail soup as a delicacy - Even though I eat just about anything, it just never appealed to me.
