Don’t drink the wine but it’s a wonderful bartering product. Met a neighbor yesterday that DH got him started in bee keeping several years ago. Hubby mentioned his wine that was just aging in the basement and he immediately opined that he would come to visit soon with honey in hand to trade for wine. Now, I can find a lot more uses for honey than wine! Most of hubbies recipes for wine came from the internet. Whatever is producing here is fair game for winemaking. Do you know how many dandelion blossoms it takes to make a batch of wine? Lots and lots and lots!!1

Dadgum. I'd trade wine for honey any day!!! Honey-R-Us. I can't wait to get out away from town and get my bees. LOL - I talk a lot about my gardening and plans to plant but don't anybody here kid yourself... when we get "out" the first thing I'm getting myself is BEES!!!

However, I will learn to make wine so if somebody wants to trade me something spectacular like honey, I will have the barter tool. AND, wine keeps Lloyd a lot calmer when people like DelaWhere share news with him.
