LOL, a crazy thought, saving watermelon seeds is no stranger than planting the roots of onions.....from the compost pile no less, I like that one.

The world needs people who will step out and try some things. How would anyone have ever found something practical that worked if no one tried. LOL

I just cannot throw away a seed. Most of the grocery store seeds I know will not make anything. But, it is really hard to throw seeds out. I have a bag full of peach seeds in the refrigerator that I was going to plant last month that I forgot about. Need to do that! It's spring now!

Sounds like me, I suggested Scott take home some of the seeds and plant them, he stared at me and did not take them.

LOL, he is not a gardner.

If they grow at all, you will get a shade tree out of the store seeds from fruit.
