I sent an email. I’ve been trying to call Specter’s office for more than a half hour and keep getting a busy signal. Probably a good sign. Got through to Casey’s office and told them to tell the senator that my wife and I were urging him to vote no.

To Senator (Snowe etc)
Please stand firm for the sake of our country’s future. The stimulus bill as proposed is a disaster for our country.
We can’t recover by spending money we don’t have on a bunch of flawed projects that are payoff schemes. We
need to get lean and mean, decrease Government, strengthen defense, do what’s needed for our troops in action
and once they return home. We have to encourage business and oil exploration and hold off on the fluff and unproven
pie in the sky ideas. Let Green go for a bit lest you sink our industries all together. Forget Global Warming, a lying scam
brought to us by politically motivated and financially benefiting politicians.

Get out of the bail out business as quickly as possible and let the banks figure it out. The Congress and President don’t
have the answers, they just want to do something and have made this crisis much worse by hanging crepe so that they
can push through things that Americans have resisted for years. America does not need socialism and liberalism to
succeed. When you aren’t sure what to do you take small steps. This bill is a suicide run and any politician that supports it is
asking to be judged accordingly.

Thank you for your time, I beg for your honest leadership on this issue because your country needs you to say NO!
