Hi Lori, walked over here a moment to check mail here and email. Gee, its fun when you get both. Makes one feel like they are ‘somebody’....LOL~
I bet your son was glad not to be born on Groundhog’s Day, although its just another day, isn’t it? Bet that was a long two weeks wait.
My youngest was due On April 10th and I had worked until early March. On March 5, some friends had given me a shower and I had the gifts piled in the dining room and that little pre-mature baby came 2 days later March 7. One month and 3 days early. He only weighed 4 lb.10 oz. when I took him home from hospital. The first boy weighed 8 lb.2 oz.....Go figure!
Well, good grief, jaycee, you ARE 'somebody' everyday! You are an important part of Amy's Place family! We are ALL special here! :-)
But, yes, I know what you mean about getting pings and email. It's what we look forward to. I especially love freepmail because that is how I keep in touch with some very special people here - some who don't post much anymore.
Yes, babies come on their own schedule, don't they? I was kind of hoping, when the days kept passing, that my 'little girl' would be born on Valentine's Day. I could picture the "pretty in pink" Valentine birthday parties and how much I would like being born on a special day like Valentine's Day. But, my little girl ended up being a rough and tumble little boy (back then, you had to wait to find out, LOL), so Valentine's Day wouldn't have worked real well for him - he was born two days after.
