A cousin’s two daughters and their children flew down from Alaska. My cousin is no longer with us. It was wonderful to see her daughters again. It had been 11 years.
I grew up in a small town and there are school chums who I always see at other friends’ funerals.
Small towns are very special places to raise children. Everyone knows everyone.
You might never see them except for significant times like these. Meeting again reminds us that life and memories join with others’ memories.
