So a neighbor is the primary ‘owner’ of the bird? Maybe you're its girl friend.

A guy I know has two watch-toms. Had to get a P.O. box because they hate the mailman and ganged up on him.

They are usually good with their “owner” except when occasionally the two birds rile each other up and then no one is safe. They're like whacked out brothers.

Yes..He brought him here when he moved in..I had thought he was part of a flock I had seen before until he told me.
I have no experience with “pet” toms and did not know they were like this!
I am happy there is just one and he likes me! He bothers none of the people who drive up in my driveway..My kids think he’s great. He stays at the front a lot, too. His owner lives across from me.
He is large..so I would be very intimidated were he to “turn” on me...and very surprised.
