Going to KFC to pick up dinner, will check back in later.
So did you get to see Lance Armstrong in the race yesterday enough to get a picture?
Yes, thats right! Like I said, thats why they call it a show!
Anyone could sorta fall in love in that beautiful place with surroundings of food, wine, candlelight. hot tubs, etc.etc. They sure have to do a lot of acting so we the public will be entertained...but its fun!
Sounds about right...Billie and the rest would know better than me. The ones you listed I think just about gets them all. Meg hasn’t been watching but she may want to see the last show. You had her name in there too!
No problem, we all get here when we can get here. I was anxious for your "take" though. I think this makes the show so much more interesting having friends to hash it over with. ;-)
The overnight date makes me queasy too. On the date with Molly, they showed the two of them sitting on the bed, then the shutters close. Geee...... I hope hes a gentleman about it, but for example, he and Jillian drank QUITE A BIT of wine and she seemed ready to go for it. That may have explained why she cried for the first time once she was dumped.
Well, I might have been ready to "go for it" too, especially if I was head over heals in love, but not after he's "gone for it" with two other women! I don't share well, I guess. ;-)
Yeah, I don't know how much they are actually drinking, but they always seem to have a wine glass in their hands.
I don't really care about next week all that much, but I will probably go ahead and watch anyway.
Now I need to go out and get some things done in the yard while the sun is shining. I noticed this morning that my jays, Precocious and Scrubita, are busily carting twigs around. Haven't discovered where their nest is yet. I hope their child-rearing goes better this time around. Poor little things lost all but one of their first clutch last spring.
Billie your opening today, and the music, is so pretty. Thank you for the lovely images you bring.
See you all later, I am heading out the back door.
Thank you!
Glad I went to see it, though. Got drenched in a couple of downpours, but nothing like the bike riders. I had a warm jacket.
They're racing again today down south from Merced to Clovis, and they'll be down near Mama Bear's country tomorrow.
Here's a still I captured off the video of "the pack"...
I like that exciting picture, Dave....bet that was fun to see! It has rained here all day. Very dark and gloomy!
Thanks, Meg. I'm glad you liked it.
Your "Reflections after the rain" is so striking!
Funny comment Mama Bear. :) The thing that worries me is Jason is a nice guy and they usually don’t fare very well in life.
Glad you thought yesterday's opening was pretty - I like to play around with several different shapes, edges and vignette effects until the picture screams after applying half a dozen plugins, "Okay, stop now!" :)
Thank *you*, Dita! Glad you could open the song. :)
Thank you MEG....
Dolly,
What a wonderful slideshow! I loved the photo of you and your niece too!
My oldest daughter raises Cockatiels, parrotlets’ and parakeets. We had a Parrotlet and it drove us nuts! Bit everyone but my husband! LOL
Polly
I got my appetite back today and hope I don't put the weight back on, it's hard not to this time of year while it's still wintertime outside.
I'm sorry, Jaycee. I didn't know the link didn't work until I read your post, and then I clicked on it, and realized I messed up the link. Shoot! It's such a great video - am sure there will be more chances to see it. I couldn't watch it smoothly and seamlessly because Flash videos buffer longer than they play, so it's very 'stop and go' for me. I do have the song, though, so at least I know what it sounds like without stalling. This is a 'frame' from it: (the other picture I posted wasn't from the video)
Hi, Maj - yep! jaycee and I like him! (Who's D O?)
jaycee, I owe you mail. :)
I knew you would enjoy it. :) The sour note at the end was from one of the other Idol contestants, I am sure - Carrie and Taylor were pretty much in the background after the first few choruses and the others joined in.
Thanks.. I have done 4 so far from the trip.. the cowboy Hall of fame, the play my brother did, Hibachi/Sushi & bird. A couple to go.
Each event had hundreds of pix & I try to limit each show to 30-50 slides
How is your hubby doing? Been thinking of you all day!
I agree that sometimes we have to look at a picture the second time to see what it was that someone else saw we didn't! Thank you for the compliment - I didn't answer your first one, because I wasn't sure why it seemed sad, and I also saw that you had written this second post! :)
