Oh yes, Johnn!
I’ve been thinking that for many a day now. There will be no turning back when O. gets through his plans. Very depressing!
And you wrote it perfect in your writing...thank you!

When he let Jillian go, that was what I was refering to as to biggest mistake of his life. I really thought she was the best choice.
I seriously do not think he will pick Melissa - mainly because her parents refused to meet him. My question: Why didn’t he meet her parents in ‘private’ if they were so against being public with it? Family is very important to him - and that is a big part missing with Melissa.
I didn’t notice that DeAnna had gotten chunkier (Lordy, would I LOVE to be ‘that’ chunky.) LOL! I would be shocked if he picked her. They keep ‘teasing’ us that she is coming back - but not telling us when.

True Love**
LOL You always find the coolest poems!
When he is late for dinner and I know he must be either having an affair or lying dead in the middle of the street,
I always hope he’s dead.**
Because dead would hurt less than knowing he cheated on you. Sounds like my kind of woman. :)

Today's devotional reminded me of the chorus we sang in the 60's! "Coming Again, Coming Again, may be morning, may be noon, may be evening and may be soon....."
Thanks Mayor , as always for posting this. Polly

Good Morning everyone at Amy’s place....
We have a bug at our home. Strep Throat. My beloved is down with it, thus making me chief bottle washer, car pooler, etc. ** Can I say I depend on my man?** boo hoo....
Off and running here in Los Angeles...

I agree re: Jillian. I saw something in her that I didn't see in the others, a bit more depth, or something.
I am afraid that Melissa brings some insecurity issues to the relationship that may prove to be challenging for them as a couple, but I am thinking, at this point, that either one of them would be an 'okay' choice for him. Maybe now it's just going to come down to how each one interacts with Ty and his family.
My catty remark about DeAnna being chunkier than when we last saw her could have been because what she was wearing made her look even shorter and chunkier than she already is - and because I just don't like her. LOL. They gave us such a quick glimpse of her that I can't quite remember what it was she was wearing, but it sure didn't do much for her.

I am sorry, jaycee, I didn't know you were watching the Bachelor too. I would have pinged you to my comments after last night's show. I will put you on my Bachelor ping list for the duration of this season. :-)
It's coming down to the wire now. And I have no idea who he is going to end up with, but I am thinking there might be just a tad more chemistry with Melissa. I guess we'll see!

A perfect opening for our rainy, dreary weather here. I didn't recognize the song from the title or reading the lyrics, but as soon as I heard the piano opening I realized I've heard it many times.
Thank you. I have always liked Barry Manilow and have added the song to my play list.

I didn’t find the “chunkier” remark ‘catty’ at all. Just a realistic observation. I don’t like her either, and I hope he doesn’t still have ‘feelings’ for her. Whoever he choses, he IS engaged to her today, and happy. (So, it ‘couldn’t’ be DeAnna, could it....?) LOL!

I actually wanted to use this version of "Made it Thru the Rain", because I just love hearing TWO of the voices (Taylor Hicks and Carrie Underwood), but the very last note from the whole group is really bad - one or two or I don't know how many hit a REALLY sour note! Listen, though, as Carrie starts the song during the American Idol Season 5 Finale (where Taylor won), and when Taylor comes in with that powerful, soring voice it just ROCKS the stage.

Morning, Polly, thank you. I’m glad you liked it. The song is pretty and soothing, isn’t it? :)

Whoever he choses, he IS engaged to her today, and happy. I know. Isn't that wonderful? I saw an interview that he did after the show and he just couldn't quit smiling. He seemed so happy with whoever he ended up choosing. I hope they live happily-ever-after.

Morning, Conor - a Happy Tuesday to you!

Thank, Lori. Wolfie sent me that picture of the duck being ‘showered’, and I think the composition and the pretty colors (azaleas?) are so pretty.
To: Billie
Hmmmmm......I like both Carrie and Taylor, individually, but I'm not crazy about this rendition of the song. I generally don't like "live" recordings by any vocalists. You are right about the sour note at the end.
Are you watching the new American Idol? I don't generally get interested in it until they get down to the final 12 contestants, it's hard to keep any of them straight with so many in the field, but it looks like they have some pretty good contestants at this point. I'll tell you, that one gal who just can't keep herself from shrieking and screaming and jumping up and down is annoying as all get-out. I'd tell her to control herself or she's off the show - I don't care if she has the voice of an angel. It's not cute and it's not funny. It's just really annoying.
