For the benefit of those who may not be Science geeks, or at least geeks at our level of geekiness, herewith a reference for why I mentioned "tickling the dragon's tail", and why Darks responded about dancing neutrons.
The tale of an unsung hero, Dr. Louis Slotin.
This tickling of the dragon's tale is unspeakably dangerous, even though the humorous reference makes light of it. It proved all too deadly for Dr. Slotin.
And why did I bring it up? Well, T-C had mentioned casual treatment of weapons grade uranium. What could be more fun?

I wanted to get my hands on some fluorescent
metatorbernite.
Unfortunately, it seems to be hard to come by.
And, I don't think anyone would like me having a lead lined and inert gas filled display case..
