Anyway, I finished reading Stephanie Meyer's "The Host". My daughter will be pleased.

Leave it to a women to tell the "Earth gets invaded by aliens who take over your bodies" story with a feminine touch. Who would have thought humans could come, not just to a wary accommodation with the invaders, but also to be able to find ... romance?

I’m still puttering through the biography of Count Metternich. We’re about to have Napoleon’s 100 Days and Waterloo; that will be fun.

I’d love to have a robot that did exactly the same thing every day. Predictability is sadly missing in my life.

I’d better see how Vlad’s nap with Wednesday is going. She said he smells funny and kicks, and I told her to get over it.
