How’s your lake level?

Hartwell is still really low. Corps of engineers manages Hartwell, so no surprise there. If Duke handles Norman, I bet you are not far from full pond.

Lakes are very high around here right now, and so are little drainage ponds and the often-dry streams that are presently running over the roads. Cane Creek Lake, over near Waxhaw, washed out part of its dam earlier this winter.

We’re renting a house at Lake Norman in September; it will be nice if water levels are higher than the last time, when you could practically walk across it!
