Come the time here I expect one neighbor to have lights on, but the two Microsoftie couples will have theirs off.

Of course, I’ll wager ours was the only house in the neighborhood to have had an Ironrite.

There are more lights on this year than there were last year.

I see 7 houses lit up, out of 25, not including ours.
Last year I only saw one, or two, max.

That’s just on one side of the tracks.

Yah. Thought about firing up the woodstoves, but that's just recycling carbon. Might goose the thermostat all the way up to 65F for the hour, but will have to let it fall back after if I'm going to sleep tonight.

The rest of it, I'll just trip lightly (ha) through the house turning on all our CFLs to produce lots of light at low expense to the pocketbook. (Somehow I don't think this is the purpose, but it's the best I can do.)

Hello, epople.

I took a neighbor to the Wal-Mart and it took him three hours to get his groceries. He also got a card table and cahirs, and a nuker. (ohmyakinback) $250 later, we’re on the way home.

He has COPD, so guess who did all the lifting? *groan* My back hates me.

I’ll be here for a while...

Wish I did. But no. My bed is too soft for me in the first place, so I’m about ready to put it on freecycle and sleep on the floor for a while.

A bed buddy would be nice for backrubs, too. And that thingy you showed me...what did you say it was?
