Sheesh. I just took stock of the various machines my family has attached to the home network. I came up with 2.4 TB of total storage. However, my primary backup is a 500 GB NAS that currently has about 65 GB of assorted music, family photos, homework, etc. on it. (which is backed up to a separate 250 GB drive in another machine) Going to be a while before I can justify one of those 2 TB beasts... Yet the geek in me wants one...sigh But I want a new 9mm more...

Interesting idea. I'll try. 3.5 TB, 3.3 TB if you don't count the networked game machines. My first purchased hard drive about 15 years ago was 340 MB, less than .02% of the size of this drive. That's what I call progress.

I'd go for the 9mm.
