I’ll watch 24 tonight.
As a teacher, I’ll have my kids watch the oath of office portion of the day. It’s historic. It only happens every four years.
I’ll listen to Obama’s speech via Rush 24/7 so I can enjoy Rush’s live commentary.
I remember listening (or trying to listen) to Clinton’s inaugural speech. I was in my car turning it on and off. When Maya Angelou started with her “...river, rock and the tree”, I thought, “What the *ell does that mean.” It was downhill from there.
Recommendation: (from former third grade teacher) Instead of Obambi’s, try a truely historic one - read out loud any from Geo. Washington or the REAL Lincoln - the only thing that’s historic is the color of his skin (his speech has been heard in the USSR before) and I thought we were trying to teach the future generations not to care about the skin color.
