Very good, I saw what you did there with the whole Murtha thing. Especially the old people.

As a disappointed Colts fan living in Dallas, I know I will not be only one in this area cheering for a Cards win !!!!!!
If Edgerrine James could not make it to the Super Bowl with the Colts....I am glad he can get there with the Cards !!!!!!

How wonderful! I wonder if there will be another team there to play them?

To be truthful, I wouldn’t mind a PA Super Bowl.. It would have better than a all NY Super Bowl. I’m happy with Cardinals (Strange saying that) vs Steelers.

I wanted these teams because Chris Berman picked the other teams! That's a good reason. I'll take it. :-)

“so far every game has had the Cards as an underdog.”
Considering how the Cards owned the Eagles in the first half of today’s game, I’m not sure “underdog” is really appropriate anymore.

I dunno...if Warner and Fitzgerald click in 2 weeks like they did today, and the redbird offensive coordinator puts together another great gameplan...who knows? Fitzgerald forces double coverage and no one is better at dealing with the blitz than Kurt.

You are an ignorant moran! I’m from Pittsburgh, and Murtha is a senile crocked politician. Steelers are NOT racists and neither are we!!!!
GO STEELERS!!!!
To: spiderfern
Oh, then I’m definitely rooting for the Cardinals.... unless they also have skeletons in their closets?
Don’t really pay much attention to either of these teams but I have thought that Kurt Warner is a class act, so I guess I’ll root for him in the SB.

Ravens are fun to watch— would have rather had them in it but Ben Rothlesberger just made too many huge plays. One after the other on 3rd and long.

Big Ben is a great guy too. He said ‘The Lord is good’ and thanked the troops during the award ceremony. Good for him.
I can’t believe the crybabies on this thread. :) I think the Cards are going to have their hands full. I want the Steelers to win, but if the Cards do that won’t wound me. They’ve had a long dry spell. Can’t wait for the game!

Sounds about right. I'm rooting for the Cardinals—it would be nice to see somebody “new” win. Pittsburgh already has 5 Championships...lets see a team with no SB appearances win it.

Love Fitzgerald. But I think Pittsburgh is too good on both sides of the line of scrimmage. No dog in the fight, and I certainly wouldn’t mind seeing the Cardinals win, but I just don’t see it. Hope I’m wrong.

Racist!?! The Steelerz!?! Sorry...that doesn’t wash. You are intitled to your opinion of Dan Rooney and his politics...but no way that team is racist in anyway. And Tomlin is bringing his team to the big show in his second season!!!

For the next two weeks, we will be reminded of Mike Tomlin’s race and my guess, we will hear 0’s name mentioned several times as well.

No doubt...I heard Ben praise the Lord. When Kurt was with the Giants in '04, I met him at training camp. He stayed out well after all the other players went to the locker room and signed autographs for everyone that waited. He took pics with 2 of my daughters. Nicest guy--Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
I will be rooting for him and the Cards...as will my daughters!

It was only Dan Rooney. The rest of the Rooney family was backing McCain. Dan is a taxpayer teat sucker, so why wouldn't he back a teat sucking jerk like Oba Mao?
Meanwhile, I saw Mike Tomlin interviewed. He gives all the credit to his players. Humility is apparent in his style, just the mirror opposite of Oba Mao. Go Steelers!

Arizona in the Super Bowl?
Another indication that these are the end times, my friends.
