Here’s a theory...
arrows invented modern man, not the other way around. When primitive man invented arrows, the tech changed man into the modern type. How? A completely different skill set and physiological traits suddenly became competitive and dominant in a man versus arrow world.
Hmmm...what skill set are we developing here? Maybe it's how to avoid the real world. ;-)
