Okay, I know that there are those who are saying that there could be other created beings and civilizations out there, that God did create. I just don’t buy it, because even though the Bible doesn’t say specifically *not* — it doesn’t say, either, specifically so. And you’re saying that arguing from silence is not a good argument. Well, maybe so, but that’s where I’m at (and that it doesn’t fit well with the entire “construct” of the Bible’s “thinking” and how it’s all put together) ... That’s just me and my thinking from what I see of the Bible... LOL...
In regards to this — “I didnt know that mental health professionals had noted a big increase in such clients. Id love to read the references on that, if anyone has them.”
Well, yes.., I’ve read it elsewhere, and in several different places, over a period of time. I never bothered questioning it, because I had no reason to and I wasn’t really that interested in it, anyway. I mean, I’m not going to these kinds of professionals and I’m not getting hypnotized and so on... :-)
I would like to give you those references, but I can’t remember where and when. I’m sure others can come up with it.
Thanks.
I try and avoid putting God or His Word into human sized sensibilities and tidy little boxes . . .
especially when there’s 0.00% BIBLICAL justification for doing so.
I used to do differently. Had to learn to avoid that . . . the hard way.
