Look at Bible commentaries (links to Blueletterbible.com are below) for Genesis 6:4 and you will see plenty of discussion of angels ("Sons of God" was the term used and scholars say that term was only used in the Old Testament to refer to angels) and human women.

Gen 6:1

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

Gen 6:2

That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

Gen 6:4

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown.

You may disagree with the above, but when it comes to the Bible, there are as many different opinions as there are students of it (the Bible).

That said, exploring the Bible is like brushing away sand at an archeological dig...it may be a slow process but it occasionally reveals an amazing view into our distant past.

Gotta run some errands but thx for taking time to chat about this stuff.

I’m very familiar with the passage. And as I said there is nothing that necessitates the notion that “sons of God” are fallen angels in Genesis 6.

We need to be careful not to brush away too much and fall into rank speculation.

Thanks.

I often don’t think looking up such refs is worth the bother for the chronically willfully obtuse

and certainly not for those folks who seem to choose to be willfully blind to well documented realities

PARTICULARLY SCRIPTURAL REALITIES.
