A paper to be published in March in Social Sciences Journal by economists David E. Kalist and Daniel Y. Lee of Shippensburg University found that unpopular first names, when mixed with factors like a disadvantaged home life, can increase the tendency toward juvenile delinquency...
This is crap. I deal with adjudicated juvenile males on a daily basis and none of their problems stem from their names. 99.9% of them have "everyday" names.
While I think the parents were irresponsible for naming their children the names they did, I don't think that's any reason to remove the children from the home.

I’m glad to hear that. I always worry about kids whose parents give them stupid names.
