I knew there was something I wanted to ask you- or really anyone else who is a runner.

Do some states/areas have laws that runners must wear reflective gear? In last December I started seeing runners in my neighborhood wearing reflective vests and one woman even had reflective stripes down the sides of her pants. Then after the first of the year, I started seeing even more runners with the reflective gear. is it a trend or a law/ordinance in certain areas?
