Thanks...kewl

Next week is a double-elimination, IIRC..So, with the surprise "baker's dozen" of contestant's, will there be another "double elimination, or will they extend the show an extra week? Hmmm?

Thanks for posting the Buddy TV analysis of the top 13, Netizen. I pretty much agree with their take on each contestant, disagreeing only a little bit on the margins. Mostly, I found it kind of sad that they felt the need to only hint that this is the most heavily politically correct group yet. What talented person went home so that the producers could fill their various affirmative action quotas?

The review cautiously says Jasmine "brings the much desired diversity." It too-cutely says the reason Jorge got into the top 13 is because he "started blabbering in Spanish." They talk about Scott's blindness, saying, "I don't want to come off as insensitive...but if Scott wasn't blind, he wouldn't have made the Top 13." (Meaning if he wasn't blind, he'd be just another white dude.)

And then the reviewer says this about Adam Lambert:

Coming across as too over-the-top will be the season-long struggle for Adam. Even if he knows that this is a complaint, will Adam want to tone it down? We don't know. Can he? We don't know.

The reviewer is totally dancing around the fact that, even though Adam is, indeed, the most genuinely talented contestant, he performs like a flaming queen.

I’m going to be late tonight due to band rehearsal but I’ll watch the recorded show and read the comments while it’s playing back. (almost like being here)

For the Top 13, I’m rooting for Danny Gokey, Allison Iraheta, Michael Sarver, and Scott MacIntyre.

I’m hoping we loose Megan Corkrey, Lil Rounds (which we won’t but we can dream), and Adam Lambert.

It should be interesting to see who the judges put into the “pimp spot” tonight.

Have fun w/o me.
