I tried curry. I pretty much hate it. We had a good go, but it’s not you, curry. It’s me.

Did you find it gritty? I had curried rice at a Chinese restaurant and while there, didn't care for it, but the next day the leftovers weren't so bad and the grittiness was gone. I'm with you on not liking it for the most part. I figure the pickles recipes are good for using up what I have left as the other flavors are stronger and cover for it.

I was at a funeral luncheon last summer and someone made a macaroni salad and I think curry was in it. It tasted horrid. The funny thing was I had taken a bite and said What the heck is that? And the others at the table laughed because one of my cousins, just two people away had just tried it too and didn't like it either. It must be an aquired taste. Like fruitcake.

I don’t remember finding it gritty. It was on potatoes. I wanted to like it, but I just couldn’t. It was sort of sweet and a little spicy. Those things sound good on paper, but in practice it wasn’t good.
