I can see where coconut oil could be used in a chicken soup with some other spices. I want to say curry, but I haven’t had good luck with curry. I’m not sure if I dislike curry or an cooking improperly with it, or mistaking something else for curry. I find it grainy, but others tell me it isn’t, so I have no idea. There are a lot of different types of curry though. I use hot curry when I make spicy refrigerator pickles, both the bread and butter pickles and the dill kind. It works as a good substitute for tumeric since its the first ingredient in tumeric.

I have a recipe for chicken and lentil soup that the only seasoning is cinnamon. I could see the coconut oil really working in that. I would even throw in a couple of sweet potatoes. I know to sounds like an odd recipe but surprisingly in kinda grows on ya!

I tried curry. I pretty much hate it. We had a good go, but it’s not you, curry. It’s me.
