You know, I was deaf in both ears....one ear went and I had surgery...then the other ear went and I had surgery--just a few months ago. It was tough because for about 8 months I heard maybe 10% in both ears....almost lost my job. It is dangerous.
Now I'm 5% below average! Thank God for Surgeons!
