That was bad advice the judges originally gave him. There are beautiful Spanish-language songs that can give you goose-bumps even if you don’t know the words. During the auditions he sang in Spanish and Paula promptly asked him to sing something in English. I think he needs to stay with English. Singing in English he will get the votes of those that speak Spanish as well as those that speak English, BUT, if he sings in Spanish, he will lose some of the English speaking votes. Some songs truly do lose something in the translation and you can't tell if they flub the lyrics if you don't understand them, and the judges don't always point it out. jmo

I can't believe VFTW picked him over Nathaniel! Dang it! I love Kristin, Kendall, Alex and Scott and only Scott is going to make it. But I love him a lot, so it's all good. Clay was so understated...he sure had me fooled.Well geez, since he wrote a book all about all his girlfriends, his love for Jesus, and how not gay he was, he had us all fooled.
