You crack me up about staying up so late at night watching episode after episode -- we did the same thing! This was the ONLY season so far that I didn't look forward to every episode. I even fell asleep during one show. The only reason I watched it was to indulge my husband; left to my own, I would have quit after the first few episodes, and I wouldn't have done that in years prior.
The best thing I got from this season is a great impression of the Tony Almeida sideways snarl. They should definitely make a cocktail called the Almeida and it should be nearly 100% bitters.
LOL! Perfect! Serve them at your next party! I got to meet and observe at a race track Carlos Bernard, but it was before I got hooked on 24, so all I knew about him at the time was that he was a TV actor, formerly from soap operas. He's extremely handsome in a steamy kind of way, quiet, intense, a very competitive personality, and 1000 percent male -- there was nothing "feminized" about him in the slightest. Remember the black guy, Curtis, from earier episodes? I also got to meet him. He is SO-O-O much more handsome in person than on the camera, who knows why. He was gentle, extremely smart and self-driven -- has been a professional pilot -- and filled with love for life. I was so bummed when he got kacked on one of the episodes!
Jack asked the Imam for forgiveness. How can one man forgive Jack unless Jack believes that this cleric has “powers” to forgive. Kind of makes Jack a believer in Islam.
The other glossed over point is that ALL of the terror (entire series) including the assassination of David Palmer was directed from Wilson (You know the guy that resembles Bush).
These are only a few complaints I have of this show (season 7)and how they are trying to make fools of conservatives.
Maybe next season the title of the show should be changed to: “24 Reasons I am a Liberal”.
I think conservatives aren’t as discerning as I thought.
