My son has autism and seizures. His seizures started out as febrile seizures when he was two — brought on by dehydration from a cold virus and high fever. He now has a seizure disorder for which he has to take medication twice a day. He also has an emergency drug which must be administered if his seizures last longer than 6 minutes (I have to call 911 after I administer the drug as the drug itself can kill him). His pedi neuro was quite clear that his seizures are extremely dangerous and could very well cause his death if untreated.
I can’t imagine a mother whose son had such a significant seizure disorder ignoring those grave findings.
My heart goes out to this family. We have no idea what happened or what type of treatment he was receiving. Breakthrough seizures happen all the time. Jett could have suffered one which ended his life.
I think we should just let them grieve in peace.
I think you are correct.
