Thank you for your post. My heart goes out to your son and your entire family. The intolerance and downright cruelty one sees on this thread and, all too often, elsewhere on FR these days, illustrates why so many people in the general public are repulsed by conservatives.

Agreed I think it has cost us Congress & the Presidency, and likely the Supreme Court down the road.

I feel like I’m a man without a country, I oppose 98% of the homosexual agenda, and I was sickened by the “Not Christian enough” stuff during the primaries.

All you can do imo is debate the issues one at a time, do what is right, move on. I don’t see this as a time to invoke the gay issue.
