2008 has passed away We’ve ushered in a new year So rather than be lost in despair I’m spring cleaning the mess this year Gone are painful memories Gone are the cobwebs of yesterday Sparkling clean, a brand new slate Gone are the regrets of 2008 2009 is our new year We ushered her in with so much cheer Celebrating life, beginning anew I’ll make the most, I hope you do too So happy new year!
