Mr. Connell told a close associate that he was afraid that George Bush and Dick Cheney would "throw [him] under the bus."
Well, he’s dead now, so he can be brought in as mastermind of the conspiracy who was killed to keep him quiet.
It’s more convenient than accusing him when still alive.
The FBI’s handling of Jewell vs the Amerithrax suspect shows that they learned the easier path.
I am so sorry to have to laugh at a news item related to someone’s death, but in this case the temptation is nearly irresistible.
Condolences to Mr. Connell’s family, despite the ridiculous nature of the story.
Also, Cheney is an alien - from the planet Neyche (get it?)
No, maybe we should check Factcheck.org? /SAC
I didn’t get past the first sentence. You’ve gotta be kidding me. A several Bush insiders have already sold him out for their 15 minutes of fame and short-term cash, so he’s going to start whacking people two weeks before he’s done with his 2nd term? That makes a hell of a lot of sense—NOT.
Oh I get it. They won’t investigate the numerous bodies left behind by the Clintons or the role of ACORN and the press in helping Hussein win the election but Bush..yes, we all know he’s to blame for everything from the Titanic to 9/11.
For those of us who don’t know: what is BDS?

This will throw the loony left into a tizzy.
Assuming the tell all book was coming, why would Bush want to kill him? All of the other traitors that wrote tell all books are alive and well in their disgrace.
yawn.
It’s all over DU, Kos, HuffandBlow and the rest of the nutroots. Did they not hear that Mr. Rove don’t work there no more? Was he threatening him with his weather machine? LOL
Whoever wrote that needs to lay off the crack pipe.
Why not Scott McClellen and Colin Powell?
Anybody else notice how much the RATS are like commies these days.
Is this one of them Soros things? David Horowitz is not talking about the organization but says of velvet revolution "[it is] a term used in Eastern Europe to describe the sort of bloodless coup for which Soros is well-known in that part of the world. He has used these methods to topple regimes in many countries, such as Yugoslavia, Ukraine and the Republic of Georgia. Soros velvet revolutions always follow the same pattern. The rebels wait for an election, then precipitate a crisis by charging voter fraud . . . ."
2000 and 2004, OK But what happen in 2008? They won, now what? We'll find out.
Tinfoil is the only commodity on the upswing here...
I know otherwise smart people who believe this type of junk.
Why not - Al Gore, Hillary, and other prominent democRats have all but said Bush stole the 2000 election...and the media goes along with it too.
I think its very dangerous - people will believe the most outrageous things about
Bush; but, they don’t believe factual items about Obama:
Yes, he did say he would bankrupt coal (on tape)
No, he did not vote against going into Iraq (wasn’t a US Senator yet)
Yes, he did say he would meet with islamic dictators (said it on live TV)
Yes, he was a member of the socialist New Party (in their meeting minutes)
Yes, he is a champion of infanticide (matter of public record in Illinois)
Etc, etc - I can’t have a reasoned conversation with the zealots that comprise at least a quarter of our population. They think I’m making this stuff up; and, they start spouting off make believe conspiracy theories.
