I’ve got gas around $1.75. We got Tom a coat. Next we’ll have naps, and then make supper with the extra bag of potatoes.

Oh, I don't need it, it's just not visible. And not to the north either.
But I need to go. I've been asked to review some new federal bill or another...

I don’t even want to look at the gas price in the little station down “town.” I went past it this morning, but I was memorized by the courtesy of the two other drivers at the stop signs. The one to my right went first, then the one to my left kindly waited for me.
Usually, there is at least one who thinks stop signs are for “foreigners.”

People around here like to ignore stop signs, too. If I’m in the van, I stop right in front of them and give a big smile. Wouldn’t risk it in the purple car, though.

Lucky Ash!!
Most of the time, people who come into “town” are polite, as there are no stop lights, just the signs. Some are rude “outsiders” but if they live here, they soon learn that courtesy pays.
Another quaint touch is that Monday through Saturday, “downtown” has music playing from hidden speakers during working hours! :o])

We don’t have that mandate in the District I work for. Regular diesel, heated bus barn out back at the High School.,p>
But yeah, I wanted to laugh myself to death over that.

Me? I don't like any weather colder than the mid-50's.
At least our days are getting noticeably longer.

It’s cold enough there to freeze the balls off a billiard table, for sure!

I like window seats because I can get through most flights with out getting up. I’ll remember after I post this which aircraft it is but the window seat behind the row with exit over the wing has lots of leg room.

Afternoon. The most stable seats are over the wing, which is useful if one suffers motion sickness.

We have not made the switch to Vista, though we’ve acquired a few such machines in order to have our software run on them.

I used to go for window seats, but after a few hundred times crossing the country there isn’t much new to see. I know the seat you’re talking about, though.

When I had to lease a computer recently, I cussed every time I had to change screens, access email and compose anything on Word.
I’m happy with Windows XP!

I prefer to be behind all that jet fuel. I’ll take a seat in the rear any day.

Study showed it doesn’t make a difference. Sometimes I go for a seat way back (near the restrooms), sometimes as far forward as I can.

What makes a difference is knowing where the exits are, and how to get them open.
And it doesn’t hurt to have Chesley Sullenberger at the controls.
Hey, ‘Face! They call him “Sully”.
