***What is your motive, your purpose on this CertifiGate thread? Regardless of whether the SCOTUS will take up the case, you denigrate it as something to “bother” with. Don’t you think the constitution should be upheld by those whose job it is to uphold it? Why else do they get lifetime employment? It’s to buffer them from political winds. What is your FReeping problem? This is a constitutional crisis, with a case before the supreme court, and we’re discussing it on this constitutionalist website with REMFs like you shooting us in the backs. WHY? When the framers of the constitution said “if the President elect shall have failed to qualify”, was that just some sort of fun musical tone to sing to or was it some serious stuff to be considered?
