Governor Lingle is sworn to uphold the law and the law of privacy is on Obama (or whatever his name is) side.

There's a constant Democrat majority in the Hawaii congress that would just love to remove a Republican from office for any breech of the law. The Dems control congress by a 3-1 ratio so an impeachment would be a done deal.

Governor Lingle is sworn to uphold the law ...

Yes, but it could be argued that the Constitution of the United States (which she is also sworn to uphold) is the supreme law of the land, and therefore takes priority over Hawaii law when in conflict.

I haven't checked the specifics of the Hawaii privacy statute, but I'm sure there are exceptions under some compelling circumstances.

In such a democrat mindset state, is the Republican governor likelt to be a rewal conservative? Isn’t it more likely that she has an “R” beside her name but a “D” in her soul? Being posed as Sarah’s friend isn’t really bonefides don’tchaknow.
