One lousy win does not mean that Tech is on the same level as UT and OU.

See, spack, that's the difference in what I'm talking about. Texas Tech's program, history, tradition, blah, blah, blah, isn't at the level of UT or OU. Never said it was. You had a 75 year head start. Congratulations on being the Great God of Texas Higher Education.

However, this year, UT, OU, and Tech all tied for the Big XII South Division lead. Denegrating Tech's season as "one lousy win" is myopic at best, pathetic at worst. I'll say it again - You're starting to sound like Aggie.

Then all of the Tech fans should quit acting like it is. And until it is, if someone has to be picked as the flash in the pan, it will be Tech.

It's merely the truth. Next season will prove it out. Trips to Austin, Lincoln and Stillwater and OU coming in could easily mark 3 to 4 losses, and after the Baylor game in Lubbock I wouldn't write off the trip to Waco as an easy win for Tech.

This year was a nice setup for Tech, all of their somewhat tough games were at home with the exception of one, and we saw how that turned out.

Sorry, merely stating facts. Combine all of that with the fact that Harrell is gone, Crab is likely gone, most of the OL is gone, Woods is gone, and there's no guarantee on Leach being around next year...
