And remember, Tech's year this year was Kansas' year last year.

Wrong. Kansas was successful last year because their schedule did not include OU, Texas, or Texas Tech. This year it did and look at what happened.

Some of the UTexas folks are starting to sound like those Aggies who can't accept that Texas Tech has a good football team. Your 100+ years of tradition and history glow beautifully as Walter Cronkite narrates your commercial, but that doesn't give you the standing to say 39-33 doesn't matter, but 45-35 does.

No, the fact is that this game was the one good win that Tech had all year. Nebraska took them to OT in Lubbuck. They almost lost to Baylor in Lubbock. They got humiliated in Norman. They had two tough games this year, and they got lucky against Texas. No team can give up 60+ points in a game and still consider themselves relevant.

Congratulations to Tech, you had one big win this year. Face it, Tech will have at least three losses next year, book it.

Pathetic isn’t it? Tim and the spackle need to face the fact that if Tech hadn’t beaten them they would be playing in the national championship game. I would have been nice about it but like typical ut fans, they make it impossible
