I don’t get it Gipper - you bash Tech for “just winning in the last second” by 6 points, and bash ou for running up the score on teams - so what is the magic number for winning a game? Too little late in the game or blowouts - is there some perfect formula where you have to win for it to count?
There is no “magic number”. I’m just a bit ticked that for two straight weeks, Texas got jumped in the BCS when there really was no reason for them to get jumped. The voters and computers didn’t seem to think that that loss to Tech mattered all that much at first (otherwise Oklahoma would have jumped Texas and stayed ahead in the BCS standings released just after the loss and in the following weeks). Instead, Oklahoma jumped Texas only after Texas had beaten their second biggest rival by 40 points! What magic number should Texas have put on A&M to stay ahead of Oklahoma?
