History has condemned him as the megalomaniac who brought death and misery to millions. But for one woman, the name Adolf Hitler evokes a smile not a shudder. She is Rosa Mitterer, who worked as a maid for the Fuhrer at his mountain retreat in Bavaria in the 1930s. Rosa is 91 and until now has kept a vow of silence about her experiences. She has chosen to break it after realising she is the last survivor of the circle who served the tyrant in the years before he launched the Second World War.

A friend of mine (I’m having lunch with my friend today) knows an elderly lady now called “Mary Jane” who was supposedly one of Hitler’s secretaries. This “Mary Jane” eventually married an American soldier and traveled to the US to live. She now lives in the Pacific Northwest.
That’s awesome!
But you know, I see every Hitler, Stalin, Obama, etc., as a sad waste. People who led and were revered by millions, yet they used that to such evil ends. Imagine using that kind of power and reverence for something good.
And where do I get the nerve putting Obama in the same league and Stalin and Hitler, you lurking DUers ask? Just ask an unborn child. 3,000 of them get slaughtered everyday in this country.

More than likely. The reason I know of her is that I sat beside her caretaker at a dinner. He and his wife because of Mary Jane’s age and with no living relatives, and both knew her late husband very well, took her into their home. He and I had a nice, long conversation during the dinner. The caretaker indicated that her brother had been in the SS but was dead. She doesn’t talk much about her time but claimed to be one of Hitler’s secretaries.
I get so frustrated when I hear people say that Republicans are like Nazi’s because they were “right wing”. The do not understand that right wing in Europe is a totally different nut than in America.
Why do I envision The Todd from Scrubs doing a “Hitler Five”. haha
Good God, and think we are crazy for comparing the love fest of Obama to Hitler. Sounds eerily familiar and I am frightened at this point.
I have read a book about Hitler that gave a strong case that he was infected with syphilis. Along with what we know about his doctor shooting him up with methamphetamine from 1942 onward it isn’t unexpected that his behavior was different back in the 1930’s.
Both Hitler and JFK shows that the public needs to know the health records of their leadership.
