Wonder if anyone will riot over this?

Legal expert (didn’t get the name) on KNX Radio here in L.A. is saying he’ll serve at least 12-15 years before any chance of parole.

According to the attorney on ESPN he is eligible for parole after five, but then has to serve consecutively on three other charges. Not concurrent....consecutive which means the other three have to be served AFTER the minimum of 5 yrs.
He actually is not going to be eligible for parole for about 10

Now the SCOTUS can make their ruling on the birth certificate issue and it will be quickly buried under the avalanche of OJ news.
Perfect.

Maybe the man who really killed Nicole has been in prison and this will give O.J. the chance to find him!

I think the actual minimum is 6.5 years. Some charges were 15 years with parole possible after 5 years. But there were other charges that ran consecutively for which he must serve another 18 mo. before being eligible for parole. That’s how I heard it anyway.

Good news, justice delayed but some justice. Happy (as possible) for the Goldmans.

He’s 61 now, so that *could* end up being a life sentence.

“Possible parole after 5 years. Stuart got the same sentence”.
I heard Simpson get 2 (concurrent) 15 year terms while Stewart only got one. That means he sits for parole separately on each 15 year count. (I suspect Stewart has a much better shot at early parole). Also, I think some of the consecutive terms added on may extend his time before sitting for parole for 1-2 years beyond the 5 year minimum.
Maybe a lawyer out there can clarify this better.
