You think scientists in Great Britain were waiting around to see what a U.S. judge had to say on the matter, or were they discerning the double helical structure of DNA while showing Lamarckian mechanisms to be in error and demonstrating the power of selective pressure?

No. I give credit to discerning the double helical structure of DNA as if Watson and Crick (based on the work of Rosalind Franklin) actually elucidated the molecular structure and 3-D conformation of DNA. My point is in no way dependent upon nobody else having a clue.

Do you think British scientists were waiting for what a U.S. judge had to say about evolution before doing research on the subject?
