Both of my sons make jerky and it is better than any one can buy. One son is a hunter and he recently made deer jerky and brought me some. It was delicious. It isn’t so hard that you can’t chew it! The other son does not hunt but he will feed the deer in his yard occasionally! But he makes jerky from beef. So I get a good supply!

“So I get a good supply!”

Really!?!

I did mention that today is my Birthday didn’t I? Wanna get rid of any extra? (slurp, nibble, chew, chew, chew, sound of smacking lips inserted here)
(I turned 62 today and my bones feel it, I HATE the cold! 16 degrees right now)

As an old Montana country boy, jerky is a well established food group ya know!

Ours is very tasty! You can eat a 5 lb roast before you know it! All I have to do now is wait til it’s done and find somewhere to hide it from #2 son. His nose is better than a bloodhound’s when it comes to sniffing out jerky! Hopefully, we’ll have enough for a few Christmas presents!
