Humility in Season
I bowed on knee before the Master, and humbled my rebel soul
and over me He gentle poured a flood of grace to make me whole
I thank Him for the gift of life, the chance to see it all
but wait in some quiet service, until He deems to call
This Christmas I pause to remember, all that’s gone before
and I know that I am but a small child, His forever more
I remember the Reason for the Season, and celebrate the same
and so I stand in quiet joy at the mere mention of His Name
I haven’t posted much lately, but wanted you to know that your poems always touch my heart, and I thank you for sharing them with us all! Happy Friday!
