Denise Lynch Murter’s story began last April when her Yorkie named Alex began growling and awoke her from a deep sleep. “I thought it was an intruder at first,” she said. “I went outside and saw it. It was shaped like a boomerang and had three lights like the headlamps of a car up in the sky.” Murter believes she saw a UFO outside her Falls home. And so does the Discovery Channel. On Monday night the cable channel aired its special “UFOs over Earth” and Murter along with her daughter and husband, Dan, tuned in. The topic wasn’t the only draw for the Murter family, Denise’s story was featured on the hour-long show.

Denise Murter was one of about a half dozen Bucks County residents who reported such sightings this past summer.

Discovery Channel investigators put together the cable special after interviews with Murter and the other residents.

Investigators made several trips to her home to try to document what she saw. Murter believes she saw UFOs in the rear yard of her Village of Pennbrook apartment on several occasions and took photos of the second and third sightings.

While investigators said her photos may not identify what she really saw, “she really seems to be telling the truth,” said John Ventre, director of the Mutual UFO Network, known as MUFON.

In the show, Murter says she saw a strange object “as it shuffled across the sky” and hovered over trees in her backyard as many as five times between April and July. She said all of incidents occurred between 1 and 4 a.m. and several times the object sprinkled a sparking, metallic substance on one of the trees.....

The state MUFON came to Falls in late July and investigated Murter’s claims. Investigators took leaf and soil samples from the tree Murter claims was showered in the dust, and samples from a second tree a block away. Three independent laboratories checked the samples with different results. One lab insisted that the leaves from the tree in her yard had been subjected to high heat or radiation. The leaves also had very high levels of boron and magnesium, but none were found in the soil or in the tree a block away, said Ventre.

One scientist, W.C. Levengood, hired by MUFON, tested the leaves and said Denise “saw a very unusual phenomenon.”

Murter said being in the cable special was weird at first because she doesn’t believe in science fiction and no interest in UFOs until this happened.

“I’m disappointed I did not catch a better photo,” she said. “However I feel positive about the whole thing because I know what I saw.”

50 UFO sighting reported to MUFON in Pennsylvania in two months.

"..as UFO Flaps going on in uk,here in USA also we have UFO flapping in state of in Pennsylvania.More then 50 50 UFO sighting reported to MUFON in Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania and West Virginia in two months and Bucks County is apparently the epicenter.

There appear to be two types of craft that have been consistently described by people.

One type is a high-flying, bright “star-like” object that zips across the sky with great speed, he said. The other is variously described as a low-flying, six-sided or boomerang-shaped object with multi-color lights — from white and red, to green, blue or orange — that silently moves and hovers somewhat like a helicopter.

Last Wednesday, a Plumstead woman told police that she saw a blinking, triangular shaped unidentified flying object hovering above her neighborhood off Stump Road around 9:45 p.m.

she was driving down Cabin Run Road when her daughter, a passenger, spotted the airborne object hovering at the altitude of a low-flying plane above houses on the other side of the street.

Initially dismissing the sighting as a plane, she became a bit uncomfortable when the craft came closer without making any sound. After parking in her driveway, she got out of her car and stared at the craft as it hovered, noting its triangular shape, bright white light toward the front flanked by dimmer white lights, and two red lights at the back.

She said “It made no noise whatsoever”.It wasn't in a hurry to leave...I watched it until it just went off and disappeared over the trees.”

In late June, one person claimed to see a UFO “with six lights in the shape of a boomerang” over the Oxford Valley Mall in Middletown.

On Jan. 27, someone called 911 to report an aircraft “hovering like an octopus” over a Mexican restaurant in Falls. A Falls policeman responded to the scene, but found nothing.

Most Mutual UFO Network investigations conclude that the aircraft in question is “something conventional and explainable,” said spokesman Alejandro Rojas. He said the network has investigated around 2,000 sightings per year"

I’m in favor of a secret government conspiracy to ban space monster hoaxes from being broadcast on television. Every time a schizophrenic sees a space monster, I have to endure a week of documentaries about half-witted hoaxes on the History Channel. I’d prefer it if the History Channel would stick to history and avoid space monsters that don’t exist.

Still spouting the same

unfounded, poorly researched,

thoroughly unmitigated hogwash, I see.

Aaww, come on, don't be that way. It'll be guys like you that force the History Channel to cancel their UFO and Monster series with all of those wildlife cameras strapped to trees full of digital images of a deer's butt. I gotta have that to flip to when Colmes or Beckel comes up on FNC. That's value entertainment right there.

Here's the entire monster quest series summed up in one paragraph : (spoiler alert, don't read further if you don't want to know)

Bigfoot doesn't exist, and neither do any of the other monsters. But if you like to watch 1970s films of turkey buzzards, check out the series. Turkey buzzards become thunderbirds the size of a cessna!

I wouldn't buy or log on to that liberal infested Democrat-worshiping paper if it were the only news source in the universe.

From top to bottom, the news staff is stuffed with propogandists for the Dem-lib victimology machine.

I worked with many of them, and would listen in astonishment as they spouted their anti-GOP anti-business, anti-white male diatribes openly in the newsroom.

Thunderbirds are crafty creatures. They manage to exist without being detected, they are unphotographable, and they leave no bones behind when they die.

Sort of like space monsters, come to think of it.

" hmmm...it looked like an octopus, did it? Reminded me of something:"

Facinating

Giant Lightning to Space

What are we to think about giant lightning bolts to space? Can we think of space as neutral or empty in the face of these spectacular discharges?

The pilots who saw it wouldn’t talk about it for fear of ridicule or worse. The pilots whose airplanes were hit by it wouldn’t talk about it because they were dead. Then in the early 1990s investigators began to take the rumors seriously and to look for evidence of lightning above the clouds.

Right away they found images on archived satellite pictures, and they recorded hundreds of flashes above distant storms. Giant neon-light-like haloes would appear 85 kilometers above storms. The glows would propagate downward to form red balloons of interlaced filaments. The currents would squeeze into 30-meter-wide channels scattered over areas of a hundred square kilometers and disappear into the clouds. The glows were so diffuse that they seemed hardly a danger to airplanes. The investigators named them “sprites”......."

I agree with you entirely. I’ve known of people who believe in Unicorns. Some really swear they exsist but no one has ever seen one. :-)
