It's sad that it happens, but Holly and her pups are doin' great. More people need to take reproduction precautions and the rest of us, when we need or want a pet, need to accept the responsibility of "recycling" a pet from the shelter. Sometimes they need work. So, work on it. My own dog, seen on my home page, this little monster who put 25 stitches in a dog catcher's hand, he was worth it. Scared and starved, he fought and fought. Now he sits around full of food and comfort and defends me at 2.5 pounds at the best of his ability. He's a killer. I've fostered pits, beagles, corgies, labs, shorthairs, retrievers, etc. I've owned a kennel. I hunt and I use dogs. It's humans who cause this. Not the dogs. And it's time we took responsibility for what we've done to "man's best friend".
