Here's La Villa Stranglatto live in Rio from ~ 2002. Not bad for three guys in their 40’s at the time. I think they have gotten better with age - especially in their live performances. The live in Rio DVD was recorded with no sound checks prior to the show as they were running late. The 40,000+ audience is a bit loud sometimes - but adds to the atmosphere!

Alex tears it up around 3:30. And at about 7:30 they do some impromptu stuff - rare for Rush, but very fun.

Wow...that was great. Rush are great musicians. Now I know why I lost touch with them in the 80’s. This is fantastic complex music. I was into simple power chords at the time. Gotta buy that DVD. Thanks.
